Shannon Gibney has been writing arts, features, commentary, and news articles for a variety of publications for over 10 years. She was most recently managing editor at the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, the state’s oldest Black newspaper, from 2002-2005. Shannon’s articles regularly appear in a number of publications, including Crisis Magazine, City Pages, mnartists.org, Rain Taxi, Black Enterprise Magazine, and the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder.
